Today, we are interviewing Ms. Hunt, an upcoming artist, author, and entrepreneur from Miami, Florida. She is the founder of NXXUP, a music blog dedicated to introducing Indie artists talented in hip-hop and R&B. The platform helps artists gain exposure by publishing their music on the website for a chance to get noticed by record labels and fans.
How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey.
I have a master’s degree in Public Administration. I own a music blog that caters to indie artists of hip-hop and R&B. I own a hip-hop blog. I started it because I saw the importance of support for upcoming artists. It’s not easy to be recognized when so many people make music. I created an affiliate program where fans can earn a 15% commission on every sale when they promote the blog. This increases traffic to NXXUP so that artists have a chance to grow a bigger fan base. I see NXXUP growing larger in the next year as we are already in the works of having our own reality show. Artists should subscribe to NXXUP and connect with our artists.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by the magic of life. I strongly believe in the law of attraction, so I use it every day through meditation and positive energy.

I am the CEO of NXXUP Entertainment, LLC, and author of Don’t Think For Me (currently sold out).
What’s your most memorable experience?
My most memorable experience is giving birth to my daughter.
Which social media channels work best for promoting your work? What exactly do you do on the social media channel that makes it work for you?
Instagram works best. People seem to like my selfies. I know my angles lol.
What’s your greatest fear?
There is nothing to fear. Fear attracts negative energy. I like to stay positive.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
I only put in 90% and put my faith in the other 10%. Everything always works out.
What keeps you going when things get tough?
The thought of my family never having to worry about basic necessities.
