Today, we are interviewing Jakari Fraser, a 9 years old child actor who has a passion for entertaining. He is the voice behind many global brands and animated characters on major networks for both radio and television productions.
He is passionate about ending childhood hunger and joined No Kid Hungry to help provide 10 million meals. He launched a Dance – A – Thon to lift his voice and bring about awareness for all children suffering from hunger!
How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey.
I told my mom that God told me I was supposed to be on the TV when I was 5 years old. And, she figured out how to make that happen.
What inspires you?
My parents inspire me every day.
Please tell us about your movie.
At age seven, I landed my first role in the feature film Ben Is Back, starring alongside Julia Roberts, Courtney B Vance, and Lucas Hedges.
What’s your most memorable experience?
The most memorable experience I would say would be teaching myself how to do a backflip. It was very hard, but I succeeded, and it feels like one of my most memorable as well as great self accomplishments!
What’s your greatest fear?
My greatest fear I would have to say; that’s pretty tough probably heights.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Learning to be in the moment and having no fear of making a role my own.
What keeps you going when things get tough?
Praying and meditation.
