How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey.
I started my financial planning practice 5 years ago when I was introduced to an internship at the company. I looked at financial planning as an opportunity to do good in the world.
Who are your role models?
My role models are people who made something of themselves despite challenges, look up to every underdog, and people who aren’t victims of their situation.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by the potential and the ability to play the game.
Please tell us about your company.
I run a financial planning practice in Denver. My team of 3 and myself help successful people, business owners, and families make wise and intelligent financial decisions.
What’s your most memorable experience?
The most memorable experience with a client is the smile on their face, knowing that my team and I understand their vision; and how to beat them to their financial goal.
Which social media channels work best for promoting your work?
Instagram is a great way to connect with people around the world. But LinkedIn is where a lot of professional conversations and relationships are built.
What’s your greatest fear?
The biggest fear is not reaching my potential.
Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?
One thing I wish I understood is to not waste time on things I can’t control.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Connecting with people that are also in the pursuit of becoming their best selves and bouncing ideas of them.
What keeps you going when things get tough?
Knowing whether I complain or not, it will not make things better. Whether things are good or bad, you have to keep working!
