Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing the Founder of MagneTiko. He is a neurosurgeon in NYC. He has come up with a unique product. He would be sharing about that with us today!
How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey?
By nature, I am a relaxed individual, yet participate in a profession that can be very intense and sometimes downright stressful. I need a practical mode of relaxation to stay sane.
Sometimes I need to relax deeply in minutes – like before a surgery. Other times I can have hours of downtime – that can immediately turn into a demanding brain bleed requiring my full focus.
I needed a tool to help transport me to relaxation, yet keep me relaxed for hours. Because my schedule is reactive (brain bleeds can come at any hour). I needed something enveloping that could still permit an immediate harnessing of focus – even better – sharpen focus through gentle relaxation.
In comes the hypnotic dance of Ferrofluid. That seductive fluidity.
I was taken by it as a child – enraptured by its calmative meander.
I then coupled that with the perpetual progression of Time, and a legend was born.
I envisioned a dancing blob that could entertain and relax timelessly. A way to “escape” stress, and find space within my mind – even if it is for only a few minutes. It was like a “massage for my mind.”
Please tell us more about the product.
MagneTiko is a beautiful watch with a Ferrofluid face. It has liquid metal dancing to tell you the Time and magnets to reshape the face of Time. The power to reshape Time.
The Fluidity of Time materialized for your visual pleasure.
What’s your most memorable experience?
Which social media channels work best for promoting your work? What exactly do you do on the social media channel that makes it work for you?
I am not very experienced with social media, actually. I never used it in a big way, previously. But now, I am learning from my kids, and I basically share the artistry of the timepiece. I mean, what a concept to try to capture — The Fluidity of Time. Change is the very essence, thereby skillfully defying description. 😂
What’s your greatest fear?
Fear is an expression of loss of control … I realize that control is an illusion, so breathe, pray, proceed forward is basically my mantra.
Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?
Don’t take life too literally, but accept what people say at face value.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Persistence and Focus
What keeps you going when things get tough?
Prayer. Family. Faith.

The space in your mind that temporally exists between experiencing and reacting is the home of many answers.
Try to increase that space.
