Today, we are having an interaction with founders of Hairglo Limited. Their company has an online & retail store in Bromley, London that deals with the retail sale of beauty, cosmetic and haircare products
Please tell us something about yourself.
A few years ago we opened a shop on Bromley Road in London. Ever since then, we have grown and expanded, immersing ourselves into both the online and the local community. We’ve learned from many years of experience what beauty products work best and other’s not so much!
How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey?
Our family-run business started out as a luxury hair & eyelash extensions retailer and built an enviable reputation based on our uniqueness in retailing premium hair extensions. We soon were introduced to a world of beauty products for textured hair that were readily available, and we quickly discovered a whole universe of hair and beauty just waiting to be seen. We are passionate about creating the ultimate destination for all things hair and beauty.
Who are your role models?
Anyone who is forward-thinking and goes against the norm, but in a sophisticated way. For example, Issa Rae, Virgil Abloh, and Tyler Perry are great role models for the culture.
What inspires you?
We’re inspired by stories where people have overcome challenges and obstacles that most people will have quit. We like the idea of creating a new narrative and a new normal. Everything that is new is questioned or challenged, and we are happy to be put under a microscope to prove our worth.

From hair extensions to unrefined shea butter to nail varnish we aim to provide a simple and pleasant experience and aim to be the first choice for all your hair and beauty needs.
We have created various environments for our visitors to access us from our events and pop-ups to our store on Bromley Road. We don’t just talk about being customer-focused. We live it.
What’s your most memorable experience?
Our most memorable experience is being interviewed by Stylist Magazine. We were pleasantly surprised to be approached by a reputable platform because we were so early in our business.
Which social media channels work best for promoting your work? What exactly do you do on the social media channel that makes it work for you?
All our social media channels work well for us. We have an Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter following, and it really helps us remain connected with our customers.
What’s your greatest fear?
Our greatest fear is not reaching our full potential, we have so much in store to share and offer our customers.
Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?
We wish we understood the industry better, we soon realized that our customers wanted so much from us in ways we didn’t anticipate. As we were growing, we had to adjust and accommodate these requests the best way we could.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
We are our own customers and understand the difficulty many people find when choosing and understanding products that best suit their needs. We pride ourselves on offering outstanding customer service in-store and online. Also, we learned a lot about visual merchandising and creating a warm and comfortable shopping experience.
What keeps you going when things get tough?
Taking a break from the situation is always important. Giving yourself time to recuperate, then to reassess before tackling the problem. And remembering to only think of solutions when negative or challenging situations continue to arise.

As cliche as it sounds, you can do whatever it is that you want to do. Don’t let anyone tell you no and that you cannot create something amazing.
