I love listening to all types of music. Today I will be talking about an awesome song based on Indie rock. I keep looking at the latest releases on sites like Soundcloud and Spotify to find a good single to share with my lovely blog audience.
Today, I found another great one. This one has been released just a few days back on April 10 on Spotify and all other major platforms. It’s called Spring Grass from the Indie rock band, Bedroom Ceilings.
I wonder how musicians come up with such cool names for their bands and for their songs.
I will just give you a little intro about the band before talking about the fantastic song. Bedroom Ceilings has two members Dean Chittenden and Ben Steer, from Michigan. They have come up with a nice song that uplifts your spirits. Both of these members have claimed that their influences include Sam Kenny, Radical Face, Bright Eyes, King Krule, and Beirut.
They also have plans to release another single and album later this year.
So, their fans are in for a treat!
Here are a few more people that deserve mention for the song- “Spring Grass”:

Song: Spring Grass
The song Spring Grass kind of reminds us to discover happiness and pleasure in our everyday life. Right now, the whole world is trying to cope up with the pandemic of Coronavirus. I am sure, during this time (when most of us are in a self-quarantine in our homes), When you would listen to this song, you would feel more connected to your lives. It is something that represents the joy that most of us are looking for in our lives. But at times, we wrestle for it in the boredom and continuity of our daily lives.
It is a high spirited and lively number that you can listen to freshen up your mood. It has a funkier, alt-rock groove. The rhythm is captivating. The singers talk about some things that we can all relate to from our lives. For example:
Change is the only constant
It encourages us to be grateful and lets us appreciate the little things during our current life on pause mode.
The song inspires us to discover our own happiness. That is, it inspires us to look for our Spring Grass.
I am inspired to look for my ‘Spring Grass’, are you?
