Hi, I am an educator, author, and wellness coach specializing in the art of helping people of all ages become their best “self” through imaginative writings that engage, enlighten, and enrich the reader in some way.
Please tell us about your book.
Valor: Quest of the Mystic Knights is a compelling read about a young boy named “Sticks” who awakens deep inside a murky swamp with no memory of who he is or how he came to this dreary place. Fortunately, “Sticks” is found and aided by a village boy named Danyu and his faithful dog in an adventure to not only find out the true identity of “Sticks” but also the nature of the powers that surround him. Through several trials, “Sticks” and Danyu discover that he may be the missing link between the mysteries of the past, the sorrows of the present, and a future that is threatened by the evil Dark Order. Valor: Quest Of The Mystic Knights is the first installment in the series.

As an educator of children and teens, I am always looking for ways to help young people understand and realize the innate powers within each of them. Valor: Quest Of The Mystic Knights is an extension of that passion and is part of the greater mission to deliver writings that help young people see themselves in the characters and unknowingly grow with the characters in each scene. The concept of “Valor” was born through divine creative energy as I walked through the hallways of a school, and the vision of “Valor” literally “popped” into my head, beckoning me to develop and write the story for quite some time thereafter. And finally, it is time for the world to meet and enjoy this story.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
My strategy is always to stay true to myself, i.e., what feels right and good to me and what feels good for the individual characters of the story.
Any message for our readers?
I have given this book to several parents of tweens and teens for their children to read, and all have reported that this book has caused several positive changes in their child’s behavior. Several have noticed that their son or daughter has become more considerate of other’s feelings, has become more appreciative of their parents, and is willing to try a little harder at tasks in school and at home, such as daily chores.
