Over the years, Harry has performed alongside Grammy winners and Grammy-nominated artists, including Ari Up of The Slits, the legendary ‘godmothers of punk.’ His performances have graced numerous prestigious venues and festivals, such as September Fest, Peekskill, Dutchess County, the Dominican Republic, NYC, and the Paramount Theatre. His commitment to creating authentic music is evident in his declaration, “I make rock ‘n’ roll trance with no machines,” showcasing his dedication to pure, unadulterated musical expression.

Harry’s talents extend far beyond the stage. As an award-winning author, he has made significant contributions to the literary world. Additionally, he won the Grand Prix at the Hudson Valley MOCA & St. George Literary Contest. His inclusion in an anthology featured in Remezcla further underscores his literary prowess.

In addition to his musical and literary feats, Harry Edgar Palacio is an acclaimed fine artist. Beyond academia, Harry is deeply involved in spiritual and healing practices. He is an astrologer, Reiki grandmaster, Ayurvedic doctor, and an international yoga teacher with 200 RYT certification. Guided by his Guruji, Sri Dharma Mittra, and as a second-generation Osho lineage practitioner, Harry has dedicated 122,000 minutes to meditation, illustrating his commitment to spiritual growth and healing.

Hi, Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.

Hi, my name is Harry Edgar Palacio. Sometimes people call me Hari… think Hari Krishna… I’m a numerous award-winning musician, author, and fine Artist.

Please tell us about your Music journey.

My music is indie garage séance rock n roll.

I’m an iconoclast, a pariah, a leper god… I make rock n roll trance, no machines.

I’ve been at it for four decades. I’ve performed with Ari Up of the Slits, a famed member of the godmothers of punk… I’ve even performed with Grammy winners and Grammy-nominated artists… my parents bought me my first guitar at 16 and sold my soul for rock n roll soon after… my first live performance was in front of about a thousand people at the age of 16, and a half… I was a prodigy.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Practice, practice, and praying to every god, demon, and angel I know.
