From Panic to Peace: Nadia Camit Upton’s ‘Manifest Your Test’ Is the Game-Changer

Manifest Your Test: A 30-Day Mindset Journal to Calm Your Way to Success

In today’s world, preparing for exams is about more than just cramming facts and formulas—it’s about preparing the mind. Enter Manifest Your Test: 30-Day Mindset Journal, a unique approach to managing exam-related anxiety. Created by Nadia Camit Upton, this journal is designed to help people of all ages stay calm and focused as they approach big test days. Whether it’s a school exam, a driving theory test, or even a job interview, this journal offers a simple yet effective way to build the mental resilience needed for success.

The Power of Preparation Beyond the Books

When we think of exam preparation, we typically imagine study guides, practice tests, and hours spent memorizing information. But what about preparing the mind? Nadia Upton’s Manifest Your Test focuses on exactly that—mental preparation. It’s a creative and engaging way to reduce stress and boost confidence in the days leading up to a test. The journal features inspiring prompts like drawing, coloring, and writing affirmations. Each activity is crafted with one goal in mind: to help calm your nerves and remind you of your capabilities.

The journal isn’t just a collection of generic motivational quotes. It’s designed with thoughtfulness and intention. For example, one prompt asks you to draw a trophy with your name on it, visualizing your success. Another prompt encourages you to write a love letter to yourself, celebrating your progress and achievements. These exercises aren’t just about filling the pages—they are about shifting your mindset. They provide a chance to reflect, affirm, and prepare mentally, making it easier to tackle that big day with confidence.

Manifest Your Test Nadia Upton 1A Journey of Self-Reflection and Affirmation

What sets Manifest Your Test apart from other exam prep tools is its emphasis on self-reflection and positive affirmation. It’s a tool that speaks to the heart of the person, not just the brain. When nerves creep in, it’s easy to forget all the hard work and progress made. But with daily prompts likeI am proud of the progress I made so far, you’re reminded of your strengths and achievements. These affirmations act as a reminder that you’re capable, even on days when anxiety feels overwhelming.

Another powerful feature is the emphasis on belief. One quote in the journal by Walt Disney says,The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing. This simple yet profound statement reminds you that action, no matter how small, leads to progress. Instead of getting stuck in your head with doubts and worries, this journal encourages you to take steps forward—whether it’s drawing, writing, or simply reflecting on how far you’ve come.

These little moments of affirmation can make a world of difference, not just for students, but for anyone facing a test or challenge in life. The idea is simple: when we believe in ourselves, our performance improves. Manifest Your Test helps nurture that belief, one day at a time.

Manifest Your Test Nadia Upton 2Designed with a Purpose: For Everyone, Everywhere

Nadia Upton’s inspiration for Manifest Your Test came from her own experience with her daughter’s anxiety during the pandemic. As a mother, writer, and mental health advocate, Nadia understands firsthand how stress and anxiety can hinder performance. During a time when children were facing unprecedented challenges, Nadia searched for ways to help her daughter manage her stress. Journaling became the solution. Not only did it help ease her daughter’s anxiety, but it also improved her focus and mindset.

What makes this journal truly unique is its accessibility. Nadia deliberately created a paperback edition to encourage young people to step away from their screens and pick up a pen and paper—a habit that’s slowly being lost in today’s digital world. The journal is full of vibrant, full-color pages that are visually inviting, making it fun to use. The engaging activities make it an appealing choice for anyone—whether you’re a student preparing for exams, an adult gearing up for a big job interview, or someone looking for a way to manage test anxiety in any form.

It’s a tool that works. Nadia’s daughter used journaling to overcome her own test anxiety, which helped her achieve an impressive distinction in her Grade 5 piano exam. More recently, her daughter’s hard work and focus paid off when she was invited to join the British Mensa High IQ society, with an IQ of 158—three points higher than Elon Musk’s. This success is a testament to the power of positive mindset and consistent self-reflection.

We had the privilege of interviewing the author. Here are excerpts from the interview:

Hi, Thank you so much for joining us today! Please introduce yourself and tell us what you do.

I’m Nadia Upton, a piano teacher, writer, and mental health advocate. I have first-hand experience with how poor mental health can affect a child’s learning.

Please tell us about your book.

During the pandemic, my daughter experienced anxiety, and I searched high and low for solutions. I came across an article on how journaling can help alleviate anxiety. This became my inspiration for this book, Manifest Your Test. I am very much aware of today’s generation’s addiction to iPads, so I deliberately did a paperback edition to encourage them to go back to good old pen and paper. The pages are beautiful enough- in full color to encourage them to write.

Journaling was so helpful to her that recently, she was offered a membership in the British Mensa High IQ Society, having gained an IQ of 158. Three notches higher than Elon Musk! I feel how frustrating it is for some parents and educators to manage anxiety during exams- this is an easy, convenient aid accessible to anyone. Recently, my daughter went through her Grade 5 Piano exam and aced it as well with a distinction using this tool.

Any message for our readers?

This is something that adults can use as well- for job interview exams, driving theory tests, etc. I really am hoping to share this simple tool with everyone. It is my contribution to society.

Thank you so much, Nadia, for giving us your precious time! We wish you all the best for your journey ahead!
