Hello, my name is Serenity Star. I am a mom of 2. I live in New Jersey. I graduated from High School. I just published my first book, THE GLOW FORMULA Self-Care for Go-getters, on November 11, 2024.
Please tell us about your Book.
Investing hours upon hours of research, My book is a self-help book that teaches the importance of self-care, which includes strategies and tools for the mind, body, and soul of those who need affirmations, meditation, and physical and spiritual help. Then, this is the book you need to purchase to start your own journey.
Please tell us about your journey.
I started writing this book in 2021, when I was healing myself from the passing of loved ones and a toxic past relationship, which caused me depression from taking care of my family and not taking care of myself and my own needs.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
Meditation is one of the strategies that helped me to release emotions that need to let go of past trauma.
Eating more healthy foods. I started to journal daily on emotions and important events in my life.
Learning to Say No and take time for myself plus setting boundaries helps also.
