From Brooklyn Streets to Rap Beats: The Meteoric Rise of PESO MILLS with “ICED OUT”

In the bustling boroughs of New York, where hip-hop beats resonate from every corner, PESO MILLS is carving out a niche with his unique sound and resonant lyrics. Born and raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, and later making a move to South Jamaica, Queens, PESO’s life in NYC has been as dynamic as his music. With his latest single “ICED OUT,” PESO MILLS is not just releasing music; he’s making a statement, proving his prowess in the rap game and capturing the hearts of fans across multiple platforms.

Breaking Through with “ICED OUT”

“ICED OUT” marks a significant milestone in PESO MILLS’ career. Since its release, the track has garnered over 100,000 streams on YouTube, thanks in part to the star power of model Foreign Nicole featured in the highly anticipated video. The single has also seen success on other platforms, including TikTok, Apple Music, and Spotify, showcasing PESO’s growing influence in the music scene.

The song’s inspiration comes from a complex personal experience with a woman PESO found irresistible yet hesitated to commit to fully. This blend of personal narrative and relatable emotions fuels the song’s appeal, making it not just a track but a story that listeners can connect with on multiple levels. The track is set to be the second on his upcoming project, “B4 THE AFTER PARTY,” hinting at more exciting things to come from the Queens-based rapper.

A Journey from East Flatbush to the Heart of Queens

PESO MILLS’ journey into music began in an unconventional yet quintessentially New York fashion. It was at a high school party in 2014 where he first performed his track “Heaven or Hell” Freestyle. The crowd’s reaction—screaming his lyrics at the top of their lungs—was a clear signal to PESO that he had something special. This moment was a turning point, transforming what had started as an experiment into a serious pursuit fueled by passion and public acclaim.

Since then, PESO has been on an upward trajectory. Peso would continue to pursue his music career & run into engagements with big artists like A Boogie, Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, Casanova 2X, Rich The Kid, Tory Lanez, etc.

We had the privilege of interviewing the Music Artist. Here are excerpts from the interview:

Please tell us about your latest single, ‘ICED OUT’.

Iced Out was influenced by the experience I had with a female that I couldn’t resist, but, at the same time, I refused to give her my all, if that makes sense.

When did you first realise that music was your calling?

It started at a high school party. At that point, it was just an experiment of doing what I loved to do. Turns out I wasn’t the only one who loved what I did, and that’s what gave me the drive to keep going.” While I performed, I watched the crowd go insane and scream my lyrics to the top of their lungs; at that moment, I knew I had what it took.

What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?

Some of the strategies that contribute to my success are Discipline, Isolation, ambition, focus, and prayers.

Any message for our readers
