A Vibrant Take on Word Puzzles
Murphy Adkins’s “Interactive Word Search: Puzzles with Fun Facts, Trivia & Challenges for Adults” offers an upbeat path to sharpen the mind while having loads of fun. This isn’t just another puzzle book—it’s a dynamic experience that treats solvers to a blend of game play and enlightening bits of information. Readers will find 112 puzzles, each focused on a specific theme that helps keep things fresh and exciting. Across all those puzzles, there are 2,576 unique words—zero repeats—which means every time a page turns, new surprises appear.
Adkins introduces variety by pairing each puzzle with a short piece of trivia, a surprising fact, a curious question, or a bit of inspiration. These quick extras add color and context to the puzzle’s theme. Solving a word search can be relaxing in itself, yet those snippets make the process even more engaging in Interactive Word Search. It’s like enjoying a small dose of knowledge—or a pinch of humor—along the way. Readers can share these tidbits with friends, reflect on them in a personal journal, or simply remember them for an impromptu conversation.
Features That Capture Attention
One detail that stands out is the large print layout—16pt text. Adkins ensures that puzzle fans can focus on the letters without any strain, which is a thoughtful approach for those who enjoy extended solving sessions. The solutions also appear in large print, so double-checking finished grids won’t involve squinting. Each puzzle has its own page. That means there’s extra space for circling words and scanning rows and columns, and no puzzle gets overshadowed by another.
This substantial format (8.5″ x 11.68″) provides enough room for every letter to pop off the page. It’s a design choice that reflects the care Adkins puts into his work. He wants readers to immerse themselves in each puzzle’s theme without any distractions. No wonder puzzle enthusiasts keep returning to his books—they appreciate that tidy, easy-to-read style.
But what really sets “Interactive Word Search” apart is its interactive side. After finishing a puzzle, readers encounter a little extra—maybe a fun fact about an animal or a historical moment, perhaps a witty quote that sparks a grin. These tidbits give each puzzle a mini personality. People might learn where a rare ingredient originates, discover an unexpected record-holder, or simply pick up a motivational phrase. It’s a puzzle book that doubles as a source of conversation starters or random bits of knowledge.
Crafted with a Passion for Quality
Murphy Adkins is devoted to creating puzzle books that engage hearts and minds alike. He doesn’t just toss words into a grid; he personally verifies every entry to ensure accuracy. That thoroughness shows in how smoothly each puzzle flows—solvers won’t stumble over missing words or incorrect solutions. Adkins respects puzzle lovers enough to deliver a polished final product.
His enthusiasm for word searches, trivia, and readability guides every decision. Instead of repeating words across puzzles, he carefully selects fresh terms that match each theme, ensuring consistent variety. With 2,576 different words overall, there’s plenty to discover in every corner of the book. That distinctiveness keeps the experience lively for seasoned puzzle-solvers and casual fans alike.
He also sprinkles in unique bits of knowledge to make these puzzles more than just grids of letters. Whether someone is drawn to quotes, science facts, cultural curiosities, or questions that spark a quick smile, there’s something for everybody. Adkins encourages readers to slow down, circle the words at a comfortable pace, and savor a hint of trivia when they’re done.
Jump In and Start Solving
Three pages at the back serve as note sections, where readers can record newly discovered words or reflect on memorable trivia. It’s an easy way to track interesting topics and maybe explore them further later. Adkins doesn’t see this as a linear “start-to-finish” book—he invites puzzle enthusiasts to pick any puzzle they fancy, enjoy it, and perhaps revisit certain themes later.
This layout also makes a nice gift for puzzle lovers who appreciate mental challenges that aren’t overwhelming. It’s suitable for a solitary pastime or a friendly group activity—some might read the fun fact aloud after completing the puzzle, turning a simple session into a shared moment.

We had the privilege of interviewing the author. Here are excerpts from the interview.
Hi, It’s great to have you with us today! Please share about yourself with our readers.
Hey! I’m Mo Hesham from Egypt, and my life has been quite an adventure. I’ve spent years working in mechanical design and CNC programming, but on the side, I’ve always been experimenting—trying my hand at website building, logo design, video editing, CNC machine maintenance, and more to make enough money to achieve a dream of mine.
My true passion? Building a real-life custom Batmobile. It’s been my dream for over a decade, and I’ve worked tirelessly to fund it. The problem? No matter how hard I worked, I could never make enough money or find enough time to actually build it.
So, five months ago, I made a crazy decision—I quit my job to focus on creating passive income. That’s when I discovered Amazon KDP, and now, I’m all in, trying to publish books that people love while working toward my ultimate goal.
Please tell us about your book.
Funny enough, I actually started by writing a novel. But after a month, I realized it would take at least six months to finish, and right now, I don’t have the luxury of waiting that long.
So, I went back to research and found that word search books are in demand all year round. People love them, and some books generate great passive income. But when I looked at reviews, I saw the same complaints over and over:
• Many repeated words
• Spelling mistakes
• Small letters that are hard to read
That’s when I knew I had to do something different. I spent the last three months perfecting my book—ensuring fresh, unique words, zero spelling errors, and a true large print format. But I didn’t stop there. I also added trivia, fun facts, and challenges to make it more than just another word search book. I wanted it to be fun, engaging, and something people would actually enjoy from start to finish.
Please share your journey with our readers.
Man, where do I even start?
For the past 10 years, I’ve been chasing my dream of building a custom Batmobile. I worked hard, saved money, bought parts, designed components, and spent countless hours making it happen. But in the end, no matter how much I tried, my salary was never enough—especially because many of the parts had to be imported, which made the costs skyrocket.
I was working crazy hours at my father’s factory—sometimes up to 22 hours straight—and it just hit me: I’d never have enough time or money to make this dream a reality if I kept doing this.
So, I quit.
My dad didn’t take it well at first. He even tripled my salary to convince me to stay, but by then, I already knew the truth—no job in my country, no matter how high the salary, would give me the freedom and resources I needed to go all in for my dream.
I tried to start an Etsy store, but it turns out you can’t even create an account from Egypt. That’s when I found Amazon KDP. I took every last bit of my savings, bought subscriptions, studied the market, and poured everything into making a high-quality book.
To fund my first marketing campaign (including this one!), I even sold some of my personal belongings.
This isn’t just about selling a book. It’s about building a future—one where I can finally work on my dream without worrying about money or time.
What are the strategies that helped you succeed in your journey?
Honestly? I’m not successful yet. Even though I was the best in my field at the factory and among the best in my country, in my mind, I wouldn’t consider myself successful until I achieved my dream.
But if the question is what keeps me going and prevents me from giving up, I’d say it’s a mix of determination, learning from failures (a lot of them, actually), and refusing to settle.
Here’s what helped me specifically in this book:
• Market Research – I didn’t just jump in blindly. I studied successful books, read reviews, and identified gaps in the market.
• Attention to Detail – No repeated words. No spelling mistakes. Just a well-thought-out, high-quality book.
• Adding Value – I didn’t want my book to be just another word search. I made it interactive and fun with trivia, challenges, and facts.
• Using Past Skills – Some of the side hustles I tried turned out to be useful in making my book look professional.
• Taking Risks – Quitting a stable job, investing all my savings, and betting on myself wasn’t easy. But sometimes, the biggest risks lead to the biggest rewards. I really hope this is one of those times.
Any message for our readers?
If you’ve got a dream, chase it like your life depends on it. Because honestly? It does.
I wasted years thinking I could balance my dream with a 9-to-5 (or, in my case, more like 9-to-1). The truth is that real change only happens when you’re willing to take big risks. It’s scary, it’s unpredictable, and yeah, you’ll probably fail a few times—but that’s the price of building something meaningful.
“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
